Koren blow for Tigers

Hull midfielder Robert Koren will be out of action for another three weeks due to a hamstring problem.

The Slovenian, who sustained the injury in last week's home defeat to Southampton and missed Saturday's 2-1 reverse at Leicester, is expected to be sidelined until the middle of April. Manager Nick Barmby said: "Obviously losing Robbie is a blow because he's got 10 goals and has been an influential player for us. "But this is where your squad kicks in and it's an opportunity for somebody to come in and stake a claim for the position." Koren, in fine form for the Tigers this season, has been a virtual ever-present in Barmby's side.
