Pressure no problem for boss
Hull City, 09:36, November 23, 2009 ,
Hull boss Phil Brown says he does not mind having his post as manager looked at on a weekly basis by chairman Adam Pearson.
Brown's post is under constant scrutiny since the departure of Paul Duffen and the arrival of Pearson but it is a situation he has been in before and he has no problem with it.
The pressure has been somewhat lifted with four points from the last two games and Brown says he is not alone as every manager in the game is under the spotlight.
He told the Yorkshire Post: "I accept the situation.
"I have been here before with Adam. When I first got the job from Phil Parkinson (in 2006), the caretaker manager's role lasted for one game.
"Then it was going to last for three games, then six games. It was a building block process. We will renew that old acquaintance and that working relationship.
"I think all managers are under pressure - Alex Ferguson or whoever, it doesn't matter who you are. You are under pressure to get results."
