Spurs defender interests Brown
Hull City, 13:48, August 6, 2009 ,
Hull City, Blackburn and Panathinaikos are all in the chase to land unsettled Tottenham full-back Pascal Chimbonda.
Hull boss Phil Brown has set his sights on the French defender as he looks to bolster his squad ahead of the new season.
The 30-year-old French international is under contract at White Hart Lane until 2012, but could be surplus to requirements after Harry Redknapp splashed out on Kyle Naughton from Sheffield United.
With Alan Hutton and Vedran Corluka already at the club, competition for places at right back will be intense and Chimbonda may be allowed to leave if the price is right.
Rovers boss Sam Allardyce is also hoping to land Chimbonda while Greek giants Panathinaikos, who came through their Champions League qualifying round this week, have money to spend and remain interested.
