Tigers have tails up - Brown
Hull City, 11:37, November 25, 2009 ,
Phil Brown claims there is a 'renewed confidence' amongst his Hull City players going into the game with Everton after recent displays.
The Tigers welcome Everton to the KC Stadium on Wednesday night having lifted themselves out of the relegation zone at the weekend.
Hull followed up only their third win of the season against Stoke with a battling 3-3 draw with West Ham, coming from 2-0 to lead before having a man sent off and eventually ending the game on level terms.
Some punters may fancy using their free bet to back the Humberside outfit to continue their recent revival against an injury hit Everton side, who come into the game off the back of a 3-0 defeat against Manchester United on Saturday.
Hull boss Brown is aware that Everton pose a serious threat to their recent run, having been spanked by the Toffees 4-0 in the Carling Cup this season, but insists his side are capable of overcoming David Moyes' men.
"We will pick a team that is full of renewed confidence and hopefully we can put our best foot forward," said Brown.
"The fans have been fantastic and got right behind the team in their hour of need.
"And it's reciprocal. We are now setting out with that renewed confidence to create problems for Everton and if we do that the crowd will get behind us.
"Everton haven't had the greatest of starts by their standards but they are difficult to play against.
"They are a threat. They are in Europe for a reason and they have a strikeforce that is capable of scoring goals.
"It is going to be a difficult night, no doubt about it, but with the ball, as I say, there is a renewed confidence."
