Hull will be without Matty Fryatt for the game at Charlton as the striker has been ruled out for at least three weeks due to an Achilles injury.

Fryatt, the Tigers' top goalscorer last season, has missed the first two league games and has been forced to see a consultant. "Matty has seen the specialist and had an injection into his Achilles, which isn't very nice," manager Steve Bruce told the club's official website. "He's got to stay off that Achilles for three or four days now and then it's a matter of in two or three weeks' time, seeing where he is then." Bruce has no new injury or suspension worries following his side's 1-0 defeat at Blackburn on Wednesday night and is unlikely to make any changes. The Tigers boss left out Cameron Stewart and Aaron Mclean against Blackburn in order to accommodate a five-man defence, with Alex Bruce and Corry Evans making their first starts of the season, and he could stick with the same line-up at Charlton.
