Tigers supremo calls for unity
Hull City, 09:06, November 6, 2009 ,
Chairman Adam Pearson has called on Hull fans to flock to the KC Stadium and unite behind the players for the Stoke game on Sunday.
Pearson returned to the club as chairman a week ago after the resignation of Paul Duffen and he is looking forward to his first home match back at the helm. However, after just one point from the last three games which has left the Tigers second-bottom in the Premier League table, Pearson is calling on the fans to return to the stadium this weekend and give the players the right atmosphere to secure a badly needed victory.
"We need the backing of the supporters and we need to stick together to pull through this," Pearson told the Mail.
"It's important we get back to having full houses and making sure everyone backs the team.
"We have to get an atmosphere going again where the KC is a difficult place for visiting clubs to come and the fans can play their part in that."
