Tigers to pounce for strike ace

Hull City, 10:00, August 10, 2009 ,

Phil Brown has confirmed that he is set to add striker Henri Camara to his Hull City squad on a free transfer.

The Tigers chief has been impressed with the 32-year-old Senegal international, who has been on trial at the KC Stadium following his Wigan contract expiring at the end of June, and looks like adding him to his first-team options for the new season.
Camara featured in Sunday's 1-0 friendly defeat against Aberdeen and is due to hold talks with Brown regarding a permanent deal. If he signs Camara will follow American hitman Jozy Altidore into the club this summer.
Following the Aberdeen friendly, Brown told the Hull Daily Mail: "I was impressed with certain things that Henri provided.
"He's got something different that we haven't got and if we can sit down and thrash out a deal, then there's a possibility he could be a Hull City player.
"I'm sure we'll do that in the next 48 hours."
