Wolves mauled by Tigers

Wolves' fourth and final offer of £5m for the services of Hull winger Stephen Hunt has been turned down by the Tigers.
Wolves boss Mick McCarthy has been chasing the player throughout the month but successive bids for the player have been rejected and now the move looks to be dead in the water.
Whilst it is a massive blow to McCarthy, who had pinned his hopes on landing the player, it is at the same time a massive boost for Hull boss Phil Brown who had maintained all along that Hunt would be staying at the KC Stadium.
