Baptista linked with Serie A giants

Roma striker Julio Baptista's agent says the Brazil international would consider a move to Inter Milan were they to bid for him.

The future of the 27-year-old at the Stadio Olimpico is far from certain following a poor season with the Giallorossi and the club's need to raise funds due to their financial problems.
Despite his poor form in the last campaign 'the Beast' has been linked with a number of clubs this summer including AC Milan, West Ham and Manchester City.
The Nerazzuri are the latest club to reportedly be interested in the former Arsenal and Sevilla striker and, despite having previously said he was '100 per cent' committed to Roma his agent, Herminio Menendez, now says he would consider a move to the San Siro.
"Roma have not told me anything [about a transfer]," Menendez told Romagiallorossa.com.
"We have not received any offers. I only know that when I talk with the press, they all ask me about Julio Baptista and his departure from Roma. Everyone talks to me about a transfer. A transfer? And to what club?
"Of course, [staying at Roma] is his priority. If Inter were to contact me, we'll see. If Inter were to talk to me about this situation, we would think about what to do.
"For the moment, there is nothing and we do not have to not talk about anything," he concluded.
