Juventus have unveiled former defender Ciro Ferrara as their new manager following the sacking of Claudio Ranieri in May.

The 42-year-old impressed Old Lady bosses when he took caretaker charge from former Chelsea chief Ranieri and won his first two games at the helm to guide the Italian giants to an automatic Champions League spot courtesy of a second place finish in Serie A.
Ferrara, who won seven Italian titles and one Champions League as a player with the Bianconeri, has signed a two-year contract and will step down from his role as an assistant to Italy coach Marcello Lippi.
"He is a man linked to Juventus and to our story of success," said a club statement.
"He is a young coach, who has gained managerial experience in recent years within the club and has an international outlook thanks to his work with the world champions."
