Guardiola ready for rest
Pep Guardiola has insisted he is eager to take a break from management after seeing Barcelona lift the Copa del Rey.
Barca managed to see off Atheltic Bilboa with a 3-0 victory on Friday night, to add yet another trophy to the cabinets at the Nou Camp. Guardiola leaves the Catalan giants on a high but has been linked with vacant jobs in the Premier League, with both Chelsea and Liverpool looking for new managers. However the Spaniard has intimated he does intend to take a break from football following his Copa del Rey success with a side he has made into the envy of the footballing world. He said: "The reason is tiredness "If it wasn't I would have liked to continue. We will see what happens in the future. "To win 14 titles in four years is very difficult to achieve and we are proud of how we have done it. I have to thank the institution. I go with the sensation that I am leaving good things in this club."
