Italy have scheduled pre-World Cup friendly matches against Cameroon, Mexico and Switzerland ahead of their title defence.

Marcello Lippi's squad fly to Monte Carlo on March 2 to take part in a charity match with Cameroon, where the proceeds will be donated to the Haiti disaster appeal.
On June 3 Italy travel to Brussels where they will face Mexico in another charity match. This time the gate receipts will be donated to the families of the Italian soldiers killed in Nassiriya.
The Azzurri will then face Switzerland in Geneva before departing for South Africa on June 8.
Italy consider Switzerland a lucky opponent to play before a major tournament because they drew 1-1 with the Swiss on May 28, 1982 and did so again on May 31, 2006 - going on to win the World Cup on both occasions.
