Jose Mourinho has poured cold water on speculation suggesting that he will leave Real Madrid at the end of the season.

Mourinho has been heavily linked with a return to manage Chelsea, a move to Manchester City, and is also rumoured to be the man Manchester United are lining up to one day replace Sir Alex Ferguson. But the Real boss says he is like to remain at the Bernabeu beyond the end of the current season. "At the moment my future is not important, but I think I will be here next season. I have a contract with the club and no reason to leave. It is better to stay at a club for four or five years," said Mourinho. "At the end of the season I will have time to speak with the players and the directors and we will decide what is best for me, for the club and for the squad." Mourinho's men are in pole position in the race for the La Liga title, having put daylight between themselves and Barcelona with a 2-1 victory over their rivals at the Nou Camp on Saturday. Real face Bayern Munich at the Bernabeu on Wednesday in their Champions League semi-final second leg, after suffering a 2-1 loss in Germany last week.
