Leonardo keen to keep Milan ace

AC Milan coach Leonardo says he hopes Andrea Pirlo does not leave for Chelsea but indicated a deal could still happen.

Following Carlo Ancelotti's summer switch from the San Siro to Stamford Bridge, speculation has been mounting that Pirlo could team up with his former manager in west London.
The Italian international played just over an hour of Milan's 2-1 friendly defeat to Chelsea on Friday and afterwards Leonardo was forced to field questions about the midfielder's future.
The Brazilian coach was coy about Pirlo and when asked if he could yet join Chelsea, he admitted: "The market still has a very long way to go, but I really hope that Pirlo stays with us."
