Sao Paulo midfielder Lucas Moura has admitted he could be tempted by making a switch to Europe before his contract runs out in Brazil.
The talented playmaker has become the latest rising star to come out of South America and reports have suggested that both La Liga champions Real Madrid and Italian giants Inter Milan are keeping tabs on the 19-year-old. Sao Paulo appear determined to keep hold of Lucas at least until his current deal runs out in 2014 but the midfielder has admitted he is drawn by the big domestic leagues in Europe. He told Folha de Sao Paulo: "I cannot confirm my stay until 2014 because there is a lot of time and you never know what will happen tomorrow. "I open internet and see that Inter Milan, Real Madrid and I don't know who else are coming for me with loads of money. "Of course I'm thinking...But, I cannot let it go to my head because I am a quiet man with my feet on the ground." The likes of Real and Inter are expected to up their interest in the coming weeks to see if they can lure the young Brazilian away from his homeland this summer.
