Norway defender joins Eintracht
Defender Vadim Demidov has joined Bundesliga newcomers Eintracht Frankfurt from Spanish club Real Sociedad for an undisclosed fee.
The 25-year-old has penned a three-year contract at Eintracht and leaves Sociedad after just a year.
His new club are delighted with the capture and director of sport Bruno Hubner is a big fan of the Norwegian-born centre-back.
"We are very pleased to have been able to bring this transfer to a successful conclusion for Eintracht Frankfurt," he said.
"We have been able to sign a strong central defender who has leadership qualities and therefore fits into the team profile of Eintracht Frankfurt and head coach Armin Veh."
Demidov has 15 caps for Norway and is thought to be in contention to be the new captain for Eintracht in the upcoming Bundesliga campaign.
