France winger Franck Ribery says his side still have plenty of work to do ahead of their opening Euro 2012 match against England.
Les Bleus' stock has risen in the build-up to the tournament, following a string of impressive results and they're now seen as one of the favourites to win the championships. Laurent Blanc's men begin their campaign against the Three Lions on Monday before going on to face Ukraine and Sweden in what on paper looks to be reasonably straight forward group for a side with such a talented squad of players. However, despite the confidence in the camp, Ribery is determined not to get ahead of himself, especially after France's disappointing results in the last two major championships. "We played three good friendly games, but we can still do better. We have some work to do, and will work hard to make sure we're ready," Ribery stated at a press conference. "Our unbeaten run gives us a lot of confidence. We will do our utmost to come out victorious. "The results in our last two big tournaments weren't good and we don't want that to happen again. We will do our utmost to survive the group stages and we'll see what happens from there on."
