Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has told Barcelona that they have no chance of signing versatile youngster David Alaba.

After a few years on the fringes of the Bavarian's first team the young Austrian has made himself a regular this season, playing a key role in their march to the Champions League final later this month, with his ability to play in a number positions proving invaluable to coach Jupp Heynckes. His form has seen him linked with a move away from the Allianz Arena with Barcelona showing interest in the 19-year-old as they look to rebuild their squad after a disappointing season. The Blaugrana are currently looking for a new left-back due to the continuing health problems of Frenchman Eric Abidal but Rummenigge has warned them off Alaba who he believes has a huge future in Munich. "We do not sell players, and certainly not David Alaba, who will play a major role in the future of Bayern," Rummenigge told Kurier. "Barcelona can save the 20 cent phone charge to Munich."
