Striker rejects Juve move talk
International Football, 12:38, June 22, 2009 ,
David Trezeguet has confirmed his desire to stay at Juventus next season despite speculation surrounding his future.
The French international striker has been with Juventus since 2000 but endured a difficult campaign last season, failing to hold down a regular first-team place.
Trezeguet, who has been linked with the likes of Lyon, Roma and Manchester City, had issues with former boss Claudio Ranieri but his departure has led to the 31-year-old pledging to stay.
The forward said: "Last season was one to forget because of injury and I had problems with Claudio Ranieri. But I will go to Turin to be ready for pre-season and immerse myself in the new season.
"I have two years left on my contract and I know that the club executives have declared me not for sale and that I am part of the history of the club."
