Trio have not bid for French ace
International Football, 10:49, June 29, 2009 ,
French outfit Lyon insist they have not recieved any official offer for Karim Benzema, despite a number of clubs targeting the striker.
Real Madrid, Manchester United and Arsenal have all been heavily linked with summer moves for the French frontman, who is expected to leave Ligue 1 during the close season.
Spanish giants Real are believed to have enquired about the 21-year-old, but Lyon director of communications Olivier Blanc says no bids have been made and claims it would need an offer of over £30million for them to consider selling their star player.
Blanc told L'Equipe: "We have not received any official offer for Karim, either from Madrid, Manchester or Arsenal. We had first contact with Real in the middle of last week.
"Anyway €32m (£27m) is not very realistic. If Madrid really made an offer, it would have been superior."
Benzema's agent Karim Djaziri has claimed that the player is happy in his homeland, as he sets his sights on the 2010 World Cup, but a big-money move to La Liga or the Premier League may prove too hard to resist.
