Milan now a movie set - Hoeness

Intl Football, 11:20, January 8, 2009

Bayern Munich general manager Uli Hoeness has slammed AC Milan for caving in to David Beckham's "Hollywood" demands.

Former England captain Beckham has joined the Italian giants on a three-month loan deal from LA Galaxy and is expected to make his Serie A debut on Sunday.

Bavarian powerhouse Bayern shared training facilities with Milan during their mid-season break in Dubai and former Germany star Hoeness was astounded by the circus surrounding Beckham.

He told The Sun: "We played football whereas they thought they were on a Hollywood film set.

"My job is to run a football club and not to make sure Victoria Beckham has the best suite in the hotel.

"I cannot understand why Milan have accepted these demands."
