Esson dampens international speculation
Inverness Caledonian Thistle,
Inverness keeper Ryan Esson says he is 'not even thinking about' earning a full Scotland cap despite getting the nod for the 'B' squad.
The 29-year-old has won a call-up for the upcoming B international against Northern Ireland next Wednesday, but Esson is adamant he remains a long-way off a full call-up. He told the Press & Journal: "I am not even thinking about it. I need to play a few more games as I have only just got into the Inverness team. "Seasoned professionals who have played a few seasons in a row will get the nod before me. "I am not getting my hopes up, my focus is on keeping as many clean sheets as I can to keep us in the league."
