Experience key for Wright

Ipswich Town, 17:30, November 19, 2008 ,

Number one goalkeeper Richard Wright says his new-found maturity helped him through his rough patch for Ipswich earlier in the season.

The former England stopper came under fire from Portman Road manager Jim Magilton after a string of poor performances, but in recent weeks has proved his can still produce by turning in match-winning displays against QPR and Blackpool.
Wright told the club's official website: "Mistakes are part of football but I can deal with that side of the game much better now.
"I used to magnify every error I made when I was younger and go over what I did wrong.
"But I have learned that there is no point in analysing every detail all the time because you never move forward.
"It comes with experience. I'm older and wiser now and know how to deal with things when they don't go my way."
