Ipswich hitman set for first start
Ipswich Town, 18:08, August 25, 2009 ,
Pablo Counago is set for his first action of the season after recovering from a groin injury in time to face Peterborough.
Counago picked up the problem during pre-season and has yet to feature for Ipswich, despite being fit enough to feature as an unused substitute in the 2-0 defeat to West Brom on Saturday.
"Pablo has trained well and he will certainly be involved. He has looked half decent in training and he is a goal threat so he is in my plans," said Ipswich boss Roy Keane.
Captain Gareth McAuley will travel to London Road for the Carling Cup clash after Keane dismissed reports of a bust-up, while Colin Healy and Damien Delaney could also return to the side after missing out at the weekend.
Richard Wright may be rested meaning new signing Arran Lee-Barrett could make his debut for Ipswich.
