Ipswich manager Paul Jewell hailed Jason Scotland's goal as the veteran striker secured a deserved point in a 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace.
The 33-year-old let fly from outside the box in the 59th minute to cancel out Chris Martin's first half opener and make it six matches without a win for Dougie Freedman's side. But despite the quality of Scotland's goal, Jewell was disappointed as he thought his team had done enough to earn a first away win since Valentine's Day. "It was a really good goal after a nice move but that was the least we deserved from the game," he said. "Jason had a great volley in the first half and it was good to see him get the goal in the end. "We're actually tinged with a bit of disappointment because we feel we were the better team, but a point away from home is never a bad result. "We did well to keep some of their creative players quiet for most of the match and it sets us up well to have a strong finish to the season."
