Keane eyes more signings

Ipswich Town, 14:37, August 24, 2009 ,

Ipswich boss Roy Keane admits he needs to add "one or two characters" to his squad before the transfer window closes next week.

The Town chief has endured a miserable start to the season and accepts it will take time for his new-look squad to gel.
And while he admits the loan market is an option, Keane also wants to make some permanent signings over the next week.
He told Sky Sports: "We are running out of time, obviously we are aware we have got loan options, but I think we need one or two players who we know are going to be Ipswich Town players for the next year or two."
Keane added: "Whether it may be experience or not we need one or two characters and we will try and do that over the next few days."
