Keane reveals loan plan

Ipswich Town, 16:45, February 3, 2010 ,

Roy Keane is continuing to check on potential new signings and hopes to land at least one more on loan until the end of the season.

The Tractor Boys boss signed Sunderland strikers Daryl Murphy and David Healy on loan until the end of the season in January but wants to add further to his squad when the loan window opens next Monday.
"We tried for one more signing on deadline day," he told the club's official website. "We were close but it didn't quite happen for us.
"It's about getting the balance of the squad right and I think there is one area that we really need to strengthen."
He added: "We will keep looking and when the loan window opens again, we will have another look. I'd like to bring in another one or two more if we can.
"They need to be players who want to come and play at this football club though.
"If they are not sure they want to come when we talk to them then it won't happen."
