Keane wants to go deal crazy
Ipswich Town, 11:02, August 31, 2009 ,
Ipswich boss Roy Keane is working overtime to bring in up to four new players ahead of Tuesday's transfer deadline.
The Town chief has seen his side get off to a slow start to the Championship season with the Tractor Boys still looking for their first win after five games.
Keane told the Green 'Un: "Realistically, I'd like to bring in four players before the deadline, but you don't always get what you want in life. There's a long way to go with these deals.
"There's certainly three positions that I would like to improve on, but at the moment it's a big if. It's maybe even four players, so it's going to be a busy few days. I certainly won't be putting my feet up."
Sunderland duo Carlos Edwards and Grant Leadbitter are known to be on Keane's hit list.
