Keane's transfer waiting game

Ipswich Town, 09:07, January 25, 2010 ,

Ipswich Town are interested in Celtic left-back Lee Naylor although boss Roy Keane insists no bid is imminent.

Naylor could be available after slipping down the pecking order at Parkhead this season following the arrival of Daniel Fox.
The former Wolves player has only made four appearances in the Scottish Premier League this season and injury denied him a rare start in Sunday's 4-1 win at St Johnstone.
However, while Naylor's long-term future at the club may look bleak, Keane is unlikely to have any chance of signing him before the close of this month's transfer window despite a report suggesting otherwise.
He told the East Anglian Daily Times, "No, there's nothing in it, not at the moment.
"He's in the Celtic team at the moment anyway, and I'm always watching Celtic games. But that's today. Next week may be different."
