Macedonia midfielder Velice Sumulikoski says he cannot wait to get started after signing a three-year deal with Preston from Ipswich.
The 28-year-old has moved for an undisclosed fee to end 18 months at Portman Road and has revealed he wanted to make the move sooner.
"I am very happy to be here at this brilliant club, with a brilliant manager and staff," Sumulikoski told the club's official website.
"I wanted to come here before, but we had complications, but now I am here. I am a defensive midfielder and I will give everything for my new manager.
"We have a long season ahead and hopefully I can work hard in many of those games."
North End boss Alan Irvine tried to sign Sumulikoski on loan last season.
