Ipswich boss Paul Jewell has told his fringe players that they can still force their way into his plans for next season.

The Blues are set to release a number of players in the coming weeks and players such as Jimmy Bullard did not feature in the final five months of the season. Forgotten duo Nathan Ellington and Jaime Peters will also move on, but Jewell insists no-one is completely out of the picture. "I might have certain opinions of players but I am one of these managers whose opinion can be changed," he told the East Anglian Daily. "I am a massive believer in training. I have said Nathan and Jaime can move on, but if they are still here and give it everything they have got, things can change. "I was at Bradford City as a player and couldn't get any further out of the picture - I know what it is like. But you can't feel sorry for yourself and blame the manager and everyone else, I just fought and fought."
