Strike ace back to boost Town
Ipswich Town, 09:26, April 2, 2010 ,
Striker Connor Wickham has returned from international duty and is available for Ipswich's visit of in-form Reading on Saturday.
The 17-year-old starlet was absent from last week's goalless draw with Swansea as he was playing for England's Under-17s in their European Championship Finals qualifying games. And, having scored in last Saturday's 4-0 victory over Sweden and Thursday's 2-0 win against Slovakia to help the Three Lions qualify for the tournament, Wickham will now hope to feature in Town boss Roy Keane's plans for the Portman Road clash with the Royals.
However, following the improved performance in the game against the high-flying Swans at the Liberty Stadium, Keane could be tempted to name an unchanged side. That would mean loan full-back Liam Rosenior, who is available to face his parent club Reading, would remain on the bench. Goalkeeper Richard Wright could also be among the replacements after returning from a long-term knee injury for the reserves this week. However winger Luciano Civelli is out until September as he battles to save his career from a serious knee injury.
