Striker keen to seize chance

Ipswich Town, 16:09, February 4, 2010 ,

Daryl Murphy says the chance of some regular first-team football was all the incentive he needed to join Ipswich on loan.

Murphy teamed up with his old boss at Sunderland, Roy Keane, when he made the loan switch to Portman Road from the Stadium of Light on transfer deadline day.
And he revealed he was just desperate to play again and is looking forward to featuring for the Tractor Boys.
He told the club's official website: "Ipswich should be in a much better position that they are at the moment with the players they have here.
"I've come here to play football and help them move up the table and I'm looking forward to it.
"I've not played anywhere near the amount of games I would have liked at Sunderland recently so the chance to do that at Ipswich made it an easy decision for me to come here."
