Ipswich have been handed a home draw against Bristol Rovers in Round One of the Capital One Cup.
Paul Jewell's side also played at Portman Road at this stage of the competition last year, but a 2-1 defeat to Northampton started a four-game winless streak in which they conceded 15 times.
The Pirates will visit Suffolk for the clash in the week commencing August 13.
