Town pair make loan exits
Ipswich Town, 15:27, February 1, 2010 ,
Alex Bruce and Tamas Priskin have departed Ipswich Town to join Championship rivals Leicester and QPR on respective loan deals.
Foxes boss Nigel Pearson has moved to add to his squad and signed defender Bruce until the end of the season.
The 25-year-old has departed after finding it hard to hold down a place at Portman Road under Roy Keane. Bruce, who has twice been called into the Republic of Ireland side, the most recent coming against Poland in November 2008, will go straight into the Foxes squad for the clash with Blackpool on Saturday.
Meanwhile 23-year-old Hungarian hitman Priskin has made a shock departure to QPR just days after Keane stressed the player would not be going anywhere before the deadline.
Priskin has only scored one goal for Town in the Championship since joining the club for a seven-figure fee from Watford last summer. However he will now look to recapture his form at Loftus Road and could make his debut for Mick Harford's men against Peterborough on Saturday afternoon.
