Watford deny Ipswich bid

Ipswich Town, 10:47, August 2, 2009 ,

Ipswich and Nottingham Forest have not made respective bids for Tamas Priskin and Jon Harley, says Watford boss Malky Mackay.

The Tractor Boys have been linked with Hungarian hitman Priskin while left-back Harley was rumoured to be a target for Forest, with the deals said to be worth £1m and £500,000 respectively.
However, Mackay insists the speculation is wide of the mark at the moment.
He told the Observer: "There is nothing at the moment in terms of Tamas. I am seeing what you are seeing in terms of press speculation but until such times that something would come in, then I would have to look at it and then react to it.
"I saw a report in the paper concerning something like £500,000 from Forest. There has been no bid for John Harley, absolutely no bid for him."
