Italy hitman Mario Balotelli has insisted that he will put personal glory aside to help Italy beat Spain in the final of Euro 2012.
The Manchester City striker is in the running for the Golden Boot, having scored three goals so far in Euro 2012, but says that he will be very much a team player on Sunday as the Azzurri bid to stop Spain from achieving an international treble.
He is on fire at the moment, as his two goals against Germany in the semi-finals showed, but he is putting any thoughts of personal acclaim aside ahead of the big game in Kiev on Sunday night.
"If we win and I score, it will be amazing," he said. "If I don't score and we win it will still be amazing.
"I am really happy at the moment and on Sunday I hope I will be even happier. We are in the final. We are one of the two best teams in the tournament. We have to go there and play to win."
