Keeper out to fight for place

Kilmarnock, 17:06, August 20, 2009 ,

Cammy Bell is determined to see off the challenge of Alan Combe and keep hold of the goalkeeper's jersey at Kilmarnock.

The 22-year-old managed a clean sheet in the 3-0 opening-day victory over Hamilton while deputising for the injured Combe and he is keen to stay between the sticks over the course of the season.
Bell said: "Hopefully I can keep my place and continue to keep clean sheets. That will put the gaffer under pressure when it comes to picking the team."
