Kille snap up keeper

Kilmarnock, 15:15, August 5, 2009 ,

Kilmarnock have completed the signing of 23-year-old goalkeeper Lee Robinson on a one-year-deal.

Robinson spent four years at Rangers before being released at the end of last season and has now agreed a one-year contract with Jim Jefferies at Kilmarnock.
The keeper, who enjoyed loan spells at Greenock Morton and Queen of the South while at Rangers, worked under Killie goalkeeping coach Billy Thompson at Ibrox and stated Thompson was a major factor in his switch to Rugby Park.
He said: "I really enjoyed working with Billy at Rangers so that was a big part in me coming here."
