Sammon eyes big impact
Kilmarnock, 15:10, August 13, 2009 ,
Kilmarnock striker Conor Sammon feels he has learned from his first SPL experience and is looking to nail down a starting place.
The 22-year-old former Derry City forward struggled for regular action last season but insists that he has now learned how to cope with the demands and is eager to cement his place in the side.
Sammon said: "I'm hungrier to do well and really show what I can do. I'll be trying to do that in each game.
"When I came from Ireland it did take me a while to get used to the SPL and to the standard of it.
"So this season I am confident I can make a big impact and nail down a place in the team."
