Barcelona's Dani Alves will be sidelined for eight weeks after undergoing surgery on the collarbone he injured in Wednesday's training.

The Brazil international full-back fell awkwardly after being involved in a collision with a team-mate in midweek and suffered an injury to his collarbone.
X-rays proved that it was fractured and he will now miss the Copa del Rey final against Athletic Bilbao at the Calderon on May 25 and the start of pre-season, after having an operation on the injured bone.
Barca doctor Ricard Pruna said: "Dani fell after colliding with another player and fractured his collarbone.
"The recovery period is six to eight weeks, with four weeks completely immobilised, so he will miss the King's Cup final and the upcoming friendlies with Brazil."
