Alves plans Barca stay
Barcelona defender Daniel Alves insists he is happy at the club despite speculation linking him with a move away from Camp Nou.
Alves has been an integral part of the Barca side since joining in 2008 but has been tipped to leave in the summer with Russian big-spenders Anzhi Makhachkala reported to be looking to acquire his services.
However, the Brazilian international insists he is happy in Catalunya and says he plans to stay with the Blaugrana until at least the end of his current contract.
"If I did not want to stay, I would not have renewed my contract (until 2015)," Alves said. "My idea is to stay until the end of my contract. But the club ultimately decides."
