Barca linked with Udinese winger

Barcelona are understood to be interested in prising winger Pablo Armero away from current club Udinese.

The Colombian international is also reported to be attracting the interest of Serie A outfit Napoli and Premier League giants Arsenal and Liverpool. But a move to join the Catalonian club could prove difficult to resist for the 25-year-old, who has won many admirers during his first two seasons in Italy. Armero joined Udinese from Brazilian club Palmeiras ahead of the 2010/11 season and made an instant impact, playing an integral part in the club's successful bid to avoid relegation before helping them to climb the table this campaign and challenge for a Champions League qualification spot. A reported price tag of 15 million euros has been hung around the neck of the Colombian, who made his international debut four years ago and has since gone on to earn 27 caps playing for the South American nation. Barca are understood to be keen to bolster their options down the left flank as they battle to maintain their La Liga supremacy in the face of increased pressure from bitter rivals Real Madrid.
