Castro set for Sociedad switch

Real Sociedad say they have agreed a deal 'in principle' with Chori Castro's agent over a move from Real Mallorca.

Castro has held talks with Mallorca but negotiations have been difficult with the two parties disagreeing over the financial details of the move. However, the Basque club have said on their website that the deal will be concluded "some time next week" after the winger returns from holiday in Uruguay and is expected to join up with his new team-mates for pre-season training on July 2. Reports say Castro will take a pay cut to join Sociedad although no official details of the fee have been announced.
