Kanoute confirms Sevilla exit

Frederic Kanoute has confirmed that he'll keep his promise and leave Sevilla when his contract expires in the summer.

The former Mali international previously said that he would not be signing a new deal at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan and would instead look for a club outside of Spain. This has led to him being linked with a number of teams but the veteran forward admits that he is still unsure where he'll be playing next season. "I know my contract is ending now but so far I have nothing decided," he said. "However, maybe in a few weeks I will say where I will go. "However, I have always said that when I left Sevilla that I would not continue playing in Spain, and I think that will be the case."
