Karanka desperate for Higuain stay

Aitor Karanka insists that all the players at Real Madrid are desperate for out-of-favour striker Gonzalo Higuain to stay at the club.

The Argentine international has fallen down the pecking order at the Bernabeu this season, largely due to the superb form of French international Karim Benzema, leading to speculation that he could move away from the Spanish capital in the summer.
Big spending Paris Saint-Germain are thought to be at the front of the queue to sign him but Karanka is adamant that Los Blancos want to keep the talented forward and will do everything to ensure he stays.
"I want him to stay, and we saw on Sunday what the Bernabeu thinks of him," Karanks told AS. "He has the support of the club and the coaching staff; he is a great player.
