Keita set for Barca stay
Barcelona midfielder Seydou Keita insists he has no interest in making the move to England with Liverpool this summer.
The 32-year-old has been linked with a switch to the Merseyside club for some time, but is quoted as telling reporters: "I won't be going to Anfield." Keita played an important part in Barcelona's incredible success over the last four seasons, making 188 appearances as the Catalan giants swept all before them at home and abroad. The Mali international has one year left on his current deal but has an option to opt out of the final season. However, the midfielder wants to prolong his stay at Camp Nou. "I want to stay at Barca, that's my wish. I'd like to retire at the club and I hope it will be possible," said Keita. "We need to sit down, see what Barca offers and wants and iron out all the details. My family is happy in Barcelona."
