Malaga say the three players and one former player who complained about unpaid wages have now withdrawn their claims.

Santi Cazorla, Joris Mathijsen, Salomon Rondon and former striker Ruud van Nistelrooy were named in reports in Spain as the four players who had been in contact with the Spanish Players' Union (AFE) to inform them up to 40% of their salaries from last season had yet to be paid. However, the La Liga side say the issue has now been sorted out and the players in question have "agreed to a payment method" in line with the rest of the squad A club statement read: "Malaga football club would like to communicate that, at the expense of finalising the relevant administrative procedures, the players that had made a claim against the club have withdrawn it and agreed to a payment method that the rest of the first team squad had already agreed to."
