Barcelona attacker Pedro is hoping to force his way back into Spain's squad for Euro 2012 after suffering an indifferent season.
The 24-year-old was a key player in Spain's 2010 World Cup success, where he started the final against the Netherlands, but he was omitted from Vicente Del Bosque's last squad for the recent friendly against Venezuela. The forward has suffered an indifferent season at the Nou Camp, due to both form and injury, though he has impressed in the last couple of games for the Catalan giants, which in turn may get him back in Del Bosque's European Championship plans. "It's been an inconsistent season marked by injuries, but I'm back with desire, up to speed and gaining confidence to try and help us win the Copa del Rey," said Pedro. "I will continue working at 100% to be in the Copa del Rey final and I would like to be at the European Championships as well."
