Rayo skipper confident of survival
Rayo Vallecano skipper Michel is confident his side can beat relegation by claiming all three points against Sevilla this weekend.
Rayo have lost eight of their last nine La Liga games to plunge them right into the relegation mix and are just three points above 18th-placed Real Zaragoza with two games to go. Zaragoza play beat bottom side Racing Santander this weekend and will draw level with Rayo if they win and and Jose Ramon Sandoval's team lose at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan. Michel, however, is staying positive ahead of the crunch weekend although he described the Sevilla clash as 'must-win'. "The team is very united and we must win at Sevilla," the midfielder said. "We have to be optimistic. It's in our hands and we have to forget what has happened in the past. "We have arrived at 40 points, we have two games left and we have to win one to survive."
